In the new series, audiences join The Doctor (Ncuti Gatwa) and Belinda Chandra (Varada Sethu) on an epic quest to get Belinda back to Earth. But a mysterious force is stopping their return and the time-travelling TARDIS team must face great dangers, ferocious enemies and wilder terrors than ever before.

Doctor Who continued on BBC One on Saturday 3rd May with 'Lucky Day which scored overnight audience of 1.5m. The consolidated rating - which will include iPlayer, devices and catch-up, will be released w/c 12th May.
Overall, it was BBC One's third most-watched programme of the day, behind The Hit List Celebrity Special and Casualty. It was a low night all-round for BBC One which failed to break 2m all night. It was no match for ITV's Britain's Got Talent and The 1% Club with two-and-a-half times the audience most of the night.
The synopsis for the episode reads: "Ruby Sunday faces life back on Earth without the Doctor. But when a dangerous new threat emerges, can Ruby and UNIT save her new boyfriend Conrad from the terrifying Shreek?"
