DOCTOR WHO SPOILERS: BBC CONFIRM COMPANION EXITS AND RETURNING CHARACTERS FOR FESTIVE SPECIAL

Chris Chibnall reveals all in the RadioTimes.

Bradley Walsh and Tosin Cole are to leaver their roles on Doctor Who, it has been confirmed. Their last episode on board the TARDIS will be the upcoming festive special Revolution Of The Daleks.

Speaking in SFX Magazine, Chris Chibnall said: "It's a 70-minute episode. It is Ryan and Graham's final episode in the show. So it's big, and it's epic. It's emotional. We've got Captain Jack in that episode as well. So there's plenty going on in the special before you even get to the future.

It is also revealed that, in addition to Captain Jack, the festive special will also see the return of Jack Robertson (Chris Noth), who was last seen in 2018's Arachnids In The UK.

Showrunner Chris Chibnall said: "We love this character. It's a fabulous performance from Chris. He loved being in the show and was really keen to come back. And his character story didn't feel like it was at an end. He was disgraced at the end of the previous episode, where we met him, and the story of his recovery and how he claws back into the world continues in this story."

In addition to SFX, the Doctor Who preview in RadioTimes is available from Saturday 28th November.
