DEAD CANNY: NEW COMEDY PILOT COMING TO UKTV

Loose Woman Denise Welch co-stars in this new sitcom, alongside Mark Benton (Shakespeare & Hathaway) and Fraser Ayres (The Smoking Room).

Four half-hour UKTV original pilots especially commissioned for Dave and written by underrepresented talent, made and performed by diverse groups. All four films will be shown over consecutive nights.

Written by Anna Costello, newcomer Sarah Balfour plays Kay, a questionable young psychic from Consett, Co. Durham, whose ability to see dead people not only earns her a few quid cash-in-hand down the local pub, but also lands her as the prime suspect in a murder enquiry.

Dead Canny airs Wednesday 24th August at 10pm on Dave.
