Dancing on Ice is back for a brand-new series. Phillip Schofield and Holly Willoughby once again return to present the show and the expert Ice Panel of Torvill and Dean, John Barrowman and Ashley Banjo will all resume their roles as judges.
The celebrities heating up the ice this year in the hope of winning the competition are musician and presenter Myleene Klass; actor Joe-Warren Plant; actress, singer and presenter Denise Van Outen; actress Faye Brookes; Capital Radio DJ Sonny Jay; actor and singer Jason Donovan; Olympians Graham Bell and Colin Jackson CBE; TV personality Rebekah Vardy; musician Lady Leshurr; TV personality Billie Shepherd; actor and comedian Rufus Hound.
Six of the celebrity skaters and their partners will compete in the series’ opener and the remaining six will compete in the following week’s show.
The couple at the bottom of the table following the week one public vote will find themselves in the following week’s Skate Off, along with the pairing at the bottom of the table in week two, and therefore at risk of the first elimination. However, in a voting twist this series, the judges will now have the power to award their newly created Golden Ticket.
For the first two weeks only, a couple per week will receive this honour which saves them from the vote and guarantees them graduation straight through to the third show of the series and that means Musicals Week.
From this week forward the entire remaining cast will be skating each week for survival in the competition. The celebrities skating live with their professional partners will be giving their all to impress both the panel and the viewers who will ultimately decide who wins the show.
Competing in week one... Jason Donovan & Alexandra Schauman, Joe-Warren Plant & Vanessa Bauer, Denise Van Outen & Matt Evers, Lady Leshurr & Brendyn Hatfield, Rebekah Vardy & Andy Buchanan and Rufus Hound & Robin Johnstone
Competing in week two... Colin Jackson CBE & Klabera Komini, Billie Shepherd & Mark Hanretty, Sonny Jay & Angela Egan, Myleene Klass & Lukasz Różycki, Faye Brookes & Hamish Gaman and Graham Bell & his professional partner.
Dancing On Ice returns Sunday 17th January at 6pm on ITV.
