After being postponed from its original December date, the National Comedy Awards are due to broadcast on Channel 4 this March.

The winners were originally due to be announced by Tom Allen at a glitzy ceremony at the Camden Roundhouse in London on December 15th, with the ceremony airing exclusively on Channel 4 on Friday 17th.
A Channel 4 spokesperson said at the time: "Due to the uncertainty around the Omicron variant we have decided to postpone this large-scale event." It's now been confirmed that the ceremony will take place on Wednesday 2nd March - an air date for the show it yet to be revealed.
National Comedy Awards for Stand Up To Cancer will honour both emerging and established British comedy talent, with the public voting on key prizes, alongside two additional special recognition awards.
The categories honour the genre in all its forms with nods to fan-favourites across recent scripted and unscripted comedy, live shows, and the latest, podcast jokers all vying for votes.
