The countdown has started! There are just two days to go until Pudsey and his many friends return with the much-cherished annual BBC Children in Need Appeal night this Friday 14 November at 7pm.
Â

The night will be jam-packed with emotional performances, special moments and sketches, with children at the heart of everything.
Â
The BBC has revealed a first look image at one of this years’ sketches which will see sixteen year old BAFTA winner BBC Children in Need presenter Lenny Rush given the temporary power of placing children at the heart of BBC television. Lenny and Pudsey have big plans, and they start by replacing some of BBC’s huge roster of actors and presenters with children - and they have EastEnders in their sights!
Â
As part of Lenny’s master plan, we see children taking on the roles of iconic characters - Kat Moon, Phil Mitchell and Billy Mitchell, alongside Walford regulars Alfie Moon (Shane Richie) and Lauren Branning (Jacqueline Jossa). In true EastEnders style, tensions run high in The Queen Vic and loaded accusations of misplaced belongings are flung far and wide!
Â
Tune in to BBC Children in Need on BBC iPlayer and BBC One at 7pm Friday night to see a ‘doof doof’ moment like never before!
