BBC Children in Need returns with an entertainment extravaganza, live from MediaCityUK in Salford, to raise life-changing funds for children and young people across the UK.

Hosts Mel Giedroyc, Rochelle Humes, Vernon Kay, Lenny Rush and newbies Paddy McGuinness and Big Zuu present a jam-packed evening of comedy sketches, music performances, special surprises and famous faces as you’ve never seen them before.
Highlights on the night include special Children in Need collaborations from much-loved BBC shows, including Strictly Come Dancing, Gladiators and The Apprentice, and music from Lewis Capaldi.
Viewers can expect to see an Apprentice rarity, when the tables are turned on Lord Sugar... and he faces a boardroom grilling from his toughest Apprentices yet – the under 12s! And there will be an exclusive taster of the festive episodes of The Celebrity Apprentice: Christmas Specials, which see 12 celebrity candidates challenged with creating festive biscuits for BBC Children in Need.
Contenders - get ready for a new class of Gladiator – as the hit family favourite show gets a makeover and the mighty ‘Mini Gladiators’ make their debut. And The One Show Challenge Squad is back and taking centre stage once more.
This group of inspirational young people, who have been supported by BBC Children in Need, are each taking on their own personal fundraising challenges. Two of the squad will star in very special performances in the Children in Need studio, with Eloise joining the cast of Starlight Express for one night only, and Kat performing a duet with Sam Ryder.
The BBC Children in Need Choir will feature 16 children from across the 15 BBC nations and regions, all of whom have been supported through projects funded by BBC Children in Need, coming together in Salford to sing a special arrangement of Coldplay’s Yellow, live to the nation.
Sara Cox will be live in the studio too, to find out the total raised by her Radio 2 Great Northern Marathon Challenge, which will see her run, jog and walk 135 miles across four counties – a distance of five marathons across five days in aid of BBC Children in Need’s 2025 Appeal.
Throughout the night, appeal films will feature some of the children and young people whose lives have been changed by the support given to them by BBC Children in Need. The show will also shine a light on fundraisers up and down the country who go above and beyond for Pudsey.
Children In Need airs Friday 14th November at 7pm on BBC One.
