CHANNEL 4 SEEK NEW COMPETITIVE REALITY TV IDEAS

Channel 4 have issued a call-out for a brand new 'competitive' reality show.

The broadcast are seeking a new format, with a 'provocative top line idea', funded by its £30m Global Format Fund.

Channel 4 recently axed reality series The Circle after three series. Its thought the broadcaster are looking for similar formats which can match The Circle, The Island and Hunted. Channel 4 have asked production companies to "consider what untapped precincts could celebrities be dropped into as a potential starting point."

The new format should also have a competitive structure but not be based on multiple challenges. Channel 4 say "Layered narratives, drama and comedy should all be baked into the idea."
