CHANNEL 4 SCHEDULE CHANGES: FRIDAY 09 SEPTEMBER 2022

Changes to the billed schedules across Channel 4 channels following the death of Queen Elizabeth II.

Channel 4's evening schedule is as follows...

17:55 Channel 4 News

20:15 George Clark's Old House New Home

21:00 Gogglebox

21:45 First Dates

22:35 First Dates

For most of the day, Channel 4 daytime programming will air as billed. An extended edition of Channel 4 News will are from midday, with Steph's Packed Lunch taking over from the later time of 1pm.

Afternoon programming, including Countdown and A Place In The Sun, will air as normal.

Moneybags, The Simpsons and Hollyoaks will not air on Channel 4 this evening. Repeats of Devon And Cornwall and Coastal Railways will air from 5:25pm.

An extended edition of Channel 4 news will then air for two hours from 7pm.

UPDATE: The Last Leg will not air this evening. Host Adam Hills said: "It just doesn’t feel right. We’ll pay tribute to Her Majesty next week but for now our thoughts are with her family, and all those affected by the news. We hope you understand."

UPDATE: Gogglebox will air as planned tonight (Friday) on Channel 4.
