CELEBRITY BIG BROTHER CONFIRMED TO RETURN IN 2025 ON ITV
ITV have confirmed that Celebrity Big Brother will return to ITV1 and ITVX next Spring for a brand new series. It will once again be stripped over three weeks and will air Q2 (April-May) 2025.
Earlier this year, ITV1's Celebrity Big Brother launch episode attracted the biggest audience in over a decade with 3.8m viewers across all devices, 7-day consolidated figures show.
This was up on the last Channel 5 launch (2018) by +1.3m viewers. It attracted 0.8m 16-34 year old TV viewers and so far Celebrity Big Brother has been streamed over 7 million times on ITVX.
Hosted by AJ Odudu and Will Best, Celebrity Big Brother sees a cast of famous faces who are entering the iconic Big Brother house, as they embark on the ultimate social experiment and become isolated from the outside world.
Leaving luxury behind, the celebrities will take part in nominations and tough tasks with cameras capturing their every move. Who will win the hearts of the nation, go all the way to the finish line and be crowned the winner?
A source previously told The Sun: "Bosses have been thrilled with how CBB has performed. They were already looking forward to series two of the civilian series in the autumn and have now added a second series of the CBB to the pot. The number of viewers watching live has sat solidly above 1million all series which is meaty for a daily show at 9pm..."
