BAKE OFF: CHERISH FINDEN JOINS AS JUDGE FOR NEXT CELEBRITY SERIES

Whip out your whisks and butter your bun tins, The Great Celebrity Bake Off for Stand Up To Cancer returns to Channel 4 next Spring with a delectable new mixture of celebrity bakers.

Last year, Prue Leith announced she would be stepping down from judging the celebrity series for Stand Up To Cancer, however would continue to judge alongside Paul Hollywood for the main series.

Close friend Caroline Waldegrave OBE replaces Prue on this year's series. However, The Sun newspaper reports that Bake Off: The Professionals judge Cherish Finden will step into Prue's shoes for next year's celebrity series.

Over five new episodes hosts Alison Hammond and Noel Fielding will welcome the 20 famous faces to the Bake Off tent, where they will try to impress Paul Hollywood and Cherish with their baking skills.  

Over two days the celebrities will compete against their cohort in a bid to be crowned Star Baker at the end of their episode. Celebrity set to take part include Rose Ayling-Ellis, JoJo Siwa and Molly-Mae Hague.

The Great Celebrity Bake Off for SU2C returns next Spring on Channel 4.
