CELEBRITY HMP: CELEBS INCLUDING LAURENCE FOX SIGN UP FOR NEW C4 REALITY SERIES

Channel 4 have commissioned a new reality series which will see a group of celebrities experience the life of a prisoner.

The series, which is expected to air on Channel 4 later this year, will be set in a former prison and will aim to recreate the prison experience as authentically as possible for celebrities of all walks of life.

To make it as authentic as possible, the series is expected to be a single-sex prison, with the first series a cast of male celebrities. The Sun reports that GB News host Laurence Fox and former Conservative MP Neil Parish have signed up.

An insider previously told The Sun: "The idea behind the show is it gives people who might have zero experience of prison life, or the criminal justice system in general, a taste of just what it is like...

"That could include celebs from a walk of life where they’ve looked at incarceration from a different angle, whether they are ex-police officers, politicians, or actors who have played crooks but never actually been banged up...

More details will be revealed in due course.
