CATCHING UP WITH THE ROYALS: REV RICHARD COLES AND EMILY ANDREWS TO FRONT NEW CHANNEL 5 ROYAL SERIES

5 has today announced that it is to launch two brand new vodcast series, marking a first for the channel in this space. Catching Up with the Royals (60’ x 20 episodes) hosted by the Reverend Richard Coles and Royal Correspondent Emily Andrews, delves beyond the pomp and pageantry of Royal life, revealing what's really going on behind the headlines of the world's most famous family - the Windsors.

Each week, Richard and Emily give their take on the latest royal tattle - from the moments everyone is talking about, to the stories quietly unfolding behind palace walls. Emily’s years travelling with King Charles, Prince William, and Harry and Meghan, paired with Richard’s passion for royal history and relationships, bring you insider whispers you won’t hear anywhere else.

They’ll also take a deep dive into the defining moments of the royal family's history. Whether it's legendary scandals that shocked the world, or lesser-known royal protocols - Richard and Emily will discuss how the Royals' past is still impactful today.

Catching Up with the Royals launches on Thursday 29th January (available from wherever you get your podcasts and YouTube) and can be viewed on 5 from Saturday 31st January at 1.55pm.

Also announced is A Night In with Sally Lindsay (w/t – 60’ x 20 episodes), a nostalgic chat show vodcast. Sally is joined by a celebrity guest in each episode, as they take a look at the TV moments that have shaped their lives – from childhood favourites and genre obsessions to the shows that inspired their careers.
