Craig Charles has seemingly quit as lead presenter on Channel 5's The Gadget Show, according to reports.

Craig Charles has revealed he's to leave The Gadget Show after more than five years as its lead presenter. Craig hosted the series alongside Ortis Deley, Jon Bentley and Georgie Barrat.
Craig said (via The Sun): "I don't think I'll co-present any more Gadget Shows, so that's gone. I like new adventures - I'm always looking forward rather than back."
The series now faces an uncertain future as TV Zone understands The Gadget Show is one of the likely shows to be axed by Channel 5 under a new strategy announced last month, which aims to freshen up the schedule and create new programming and opportunities for producers.

Speaking to Broadcast, Channel 5 boss Ben Frow said last month: "...we decided to give the schedule a shake-up and literally culled about 20 series. This is an example of how we work really...
"It's so boring commissioning the same old shows. If we want to stay ahead of the game and a popular destination, we have to work really really hard to get those viewers' attention. Commissioners like to have a lot of hit shows, which is great, but sometime you've got to make space for new shows."
TV Zone has approached Channel 5 for comment. The Gadget Show is available to stream on My5.
