YOU WON'T BELIEVE THIS: ELLIE TAYLOR TO FRONT NEW CHANNEL 4 GAMESHOW

Comedian Ellie Taylor is to present a brand new Channel 4 gameshow format, You Won't Believe This (w/t).

The show sees ordinary members of the public become amateur detectives. They will hear a succession of stories from a variety of 'suspects' - only one of which is telling the truth. To win the cash prize, they must correctly identity the suspect that is telling the truth.

Experience police detectives will guide the contestants as each suspect if put through an interrogation. Using tactics which are usually used on criminals, they will dig deep into their story by grilling them in the environment of an interrogation cell.

If the contestant(s) manage to spot the truth, they win the cash prize. If they fail, and choose a faker, the lying suspect goes home with the cash prize instead.

Ellie said: "I jumped at the chance of getting involved and I'm super excited to be working with Channel 4 and Talkback to bring it them to life. What better way to put my detective skills to the test! Here's hoping some winning amateur detectives."

You Won't Believe This (w/t) is a 4x60' production for Channel 4. They were commissioned by the channel's head of entertainment Phil Harris. The series is due to air later this year.
