PRUE LEITH & SON DANNY TO FRONT NEW C4 ASSISTED DYING DOCUMENTARY
The Great British Bake Off judge and her MP son are to front a new Channel 4 documentary exploring assisted dying.
Prue Leith and son Danny Kruger MP famously disagree over the controversial subject. Prue, who is a member of the Dignity In Dying campaign group, believes the law should be changed to help those who want "medical assistance to die when they have 'absolutely had enough of life'".
The mother and son duo will travel around the United States and Canada, where more than 25% of the population now have the option of assisted dying via medical assistance. The pair will visit people from both side of the emotional debate.
A source previously told The Sun: "Viewers will see a very different side to Prue in the programme as she strongly supports assisted dying. In contrast, her son Danny is opposed to the idea, claiming it’s risky because it opens the doors to abuse and exploitation...
"So the resulting conversations they’re likely to have on their journeys will make for interesting viewing."
Prue & Danny's Death Road Trip is coming soon to Channel 4 and All4.
