JOE LYCETT TO CELEBRATE LGBTQ+ CULTURE WITH C4 CHRISTMAS SPECIAL

Comedian and presenter Joe Lycett is to front a 'queer-themed' live event for Channel 4 this Christmas.

Mummy's Big Christmas Do! will be a huge 90 minute queer part celebrating LGBTQ+ culture with live music, stand-up, interviews and much more all broadcast from Lycett's home city of Birmingham.

Performers and audience members will be populated with amazing talents, astonishing outfits and brilliant sties of the queer community in Birmingham and beyond. Expect drag queens, beloved TV huns, queer icons and allies.

Joe Lycett said: "Queer creativity outside of London is the most exciting it has been in years and I can’t wait to introduce Channel 4 viewers to our colourful and anarchic world, with some silliness and a few laughs thrown in,"
