CAN'T SELL, MUST SELL: SCARLETTE & STUART DOUGLAS TO FRONT C4 PROPERTY SERIES
Presenting siblings Scarlette and Stuart Douglas are to host a new Channel 4 property series, currently titled Can't Sell Must Sell, according to Broadast.
The six-part series, produced by South Shore, will see the duo makeover homes which the owner(s) are struggling to sell. Each episode will see Scarlette and Stuart target a home each.
Last month it was revealed that Channel 4 are reportedly developing a rebooted version of property format The Unsellables, which originally aired for one series on BBC One in 2009 presented by Sofie Allsopp and John Rennie.
The Unsellables sees a team of experts travel up and down the country meeting people who are having problems selling their houses. The show's expert team then spruce up the properties hoping for better luck on the market.
A source told Channel 4: "Channel 4 is giving an old format a new lease of life with their new series The Unsellables. People with homes they are finding impossible to sell will be given the help of the experts, before putting their homes back on the market to hopefully make a sale...
"Viewers will immediately spot similarities with the BBC’s version back in the Noughties. Channel 4 is hoping to provide something fresh and new for viewers, with a hint of nostalgia."
More details will be announced in due course.
