BRITAIN'S GOT TALENT 2021 FILMING DELAYED

The talent show returns to ITV in 2021.

Ant & Dec will return to present the audition rounds of the ITV talent show, with judges Simon Cowell, Amanda Holden, Alesha Dixon and David Walliams.

The London auditions were originally scheduled to take place at the London Coliseum on Sunday 17th, Monday 18th, Tuesday 19th and Wednesday 20th January 2021.

However, the auditions will now record between 28th January - 1st February, due to new Tier 4 restrictions in London.

A source told The Sun: "Covid’s causing havoc with BGT filming. The producers want to keep viewers entertained and put a smile on people’s faces but the safety of the cast, crew and contestants is the priority. It is at the centre of every decision...

...A live audience and their reaction is a vital part of the show’s success, too, so producers want to keep that element and, if it all means delays, then so be it."

The show plans to record with a live socially distanced audience, complying with the latest government guidelines.
