BRITAIN'S BEST HOME COOK 'UNLIKELY TO RETURN' TO BBC ONE

According to Broadcast, the future of BBC One’s cookery competition Best Home Cook is uncertain, with the regular civilian edition set to be dropped completely.

A decision over the celebrity version is reportedly "imminent". It is thought that the celebrity spin-off is more likely to continue.

Britain's Best Home Cook is presented by Claudia Winkleman, as Mary Berry, Angela Hartnett and Chris Bavin put ten of the nation's best home cooks through their paces. The first two series of the civilian run averaged 3m and 3.6m respectively.

The BBC say no decisions on either series have been made.
