BIG FAT QUIZ: CHANNEL 4 TO AIR SPECIAL BEST BITS EPISODES ON FRIDAY NIGHTS

The Big Fat Quiz returns to Channel 4 in the form of a new series of Best Bits episodes narrated by Jimmy Carr.

The Best Bits will Jimmy Carr revisits some choice moments from the show posing questions on art, literature, television, music, geography, politics, science and celebrity from previous episodes.

Quizmaster Jimmy Carr will be back on Channel 4 later this year with The Big Fat Quiz Of The Year. As always, Jimmy will be joined by a panel famous comedians. He will be ably assisted by big fat favourites, such as the superstar question setters, Mitchell Brook Primary, and the show will feature a whole host of brand new special rounds & VTs.

The show is airing the absence of Joe Lycett's Late Night Lycett, which has been rested for 2024 due to Joe's paternity leave.

A source told the publication: "Late Night Lycett is a hugely popular format and one that Channel 4 want to keep on air... Channel 4 are keen for another series but at the moment Joe has taken extended time off to be with his newborn son and family... Bosses are respecting his decision and when he does return to work, talks will take place about whether to commission a new series."
