BIG BROTHER TONIGHT: FULL RUNDOWN, THURSDAY 8th OCTOBER 2026
Here's a full rundown of what to expect in tonight's episode of Big Brother, which continues on ITV2 and ITVX.

CHOO-CHOO: ALL ABOARD THE BIG BROTHER EXPRESS
For this week’s shopping task, Housemates are travelling on board the Big Brother Express. Gathering them in the waiting room, Big Brother explains what lies ahead for the rest of the day.
Big Brother: “Housemates, to pass this week’s shopping task, Housemates must travel around the house using the Big Brother Express train and successfully complete a series of tasks. If you wish to travel to Diary Room, Kitchen, Living Area or Garden, you must ride the train to the correct stop.”
Will the Big Brother Express run to schedule? Or will there be unexpected network issues that mean it’s an economy shopping budget for the week ahead?
THE HOUSE OF REVELATIONS CONTINUES
As part of the task, Big Brother gathers housemates in the Economy Seating Area and there are more revelations in store. For the task, they must use the art of flag semaphore to decipher quotes that have been made about each other.
Rochelle says: “What’s flag semaphore mean?”
Big Brother instructs the House that they must select two flag signallers and two receivers.
Rob says: “I don’t mind receiving. I’m a military kid - this is in my blood.”
Frankie and Sam are chosen as the signallers. Heading into the garden, they must communicate missing words, letter by letter using the flags to their fellow housemates. If they guess any letters incorrectly, they fail and they must move on to the next quote.
On the semaphore board are quotes including:
“Yasmin, she in my opinion BLANK everyone’s mood.”
Another reads: “Oh, it’s getting on my f****ing tits. I’m gonna explode. They think they’re f****ing BLANK.”
“If I told Harry to go to Primark to get me a pair of BLANK, he’d go to Iceland.”
Will Sam and Frankie’s flag waving skills be up to standard?
PAULINE AND CATRIN CLEAR THE AIR
Sitting at the Dining Table, Pauline and Catrin discuss the face-to-face nominations and the fallout that followed.
Catrin: “I really do think you’re such a lovely person. But then, obviously it was just had to pick out of anything. And it was the next day, and you spent the day in bed - I felt really bad about that as well. I wouldn’t have chosen that if I knew it was going to warrant that reaction.”
Pauline: “Whether I like what you did or not, it’s your opinion. And I have to respect that.”
Catrin: “I was really struggling to think what could I do?”
Pauline: “I can’t lie. It was definitely a blind side. Because I know that a lot of people, I won’t name them, they had negative things to say the night you guys rolled up. And I was like despite me being in tears, I was like ‘let me put that aside, there’s new people here.’ But other people when they saw you were immediately stand-offish. They were like – ‘I don’t trust these people’. Went as far as we found out today, and yesterday. I was like ‘I’ve not done any of that, so it’s kind of like confusing for me.”
Catrin: “Regardless of the fact, I still apologise for not giving you space, not giving you grace. I wish I’d given you more space.”
Pauline: “I appreciate you saying that. My main gripe was what occurred after. It wasn’t even really our situation… I just need to take time to process - it was a lot that day. It was like an onslaught.”
Big Brother continues tonight at 9pm on ITV2 and ITVX.
