BEAT THE CHASERS RETURNS TO ITV WITH DISPLACED SERIES 4 EPISODE

Bradley Walsh and the six Chasers return to ITV1 this weekend with a new episode of The Chase's primetime spin-off quiz Beat The Chasers.

The episode due to air on Sunday 3rd September was originally due to air in October 2021 as part of the show's fourth series. However, hours before transmission the episode was pulled from the schedules for unknown reasons and replaced with a new celebrity special. This episode has been on the shelf ever since.

Since it was originally due to air, a fifth series of the hit format has aired on ITV, and filming has completed on a sixth series. The sixth series is due to air at some point this Winter according to Chaser Mark Labbett. More details about the new series will be announced in due course.

More brave quizzers will put their skills to the ultimate test for those big-money prizes, but will anyone have the skills and bravery to take on the full iconic line-up: Mark ‘the Beast’ Labbett, Anne ‘the Governess’ Hegerty, Shaun ‘the Dark Destroyer’ Wallace, Jenny ‘The Vixen’ Ryan, Paul ‘The Sinnerman’ Sinha and Darragh ‘The Menace’ Ennis?

As ever, it’s edge-of-your-seat play as questions swap from contestant to the Chasers. Get a question wrong and their individual or team clock keeps counting down until a question is answered correctly. First to run out of time loses the game.

There are hundreds of thousands of pounds on offer in the ‘Super Offer’. Only available to those who ace the Cashbuilder round, ‘Super Offers’ are made to those who answer all five questions correctly.

Beat The Chasers airs on Sunday 3rd September at 8pm on ITV1.
