GREG JAMES & CLARA AMFO TO HELP LAUNCH BBC THREE WITH RADIO 1 PARTY
BBC Three officially returns to linear TV on Tuesday 1st February 2022, broadcasting 7pm-4am every day.
Launching at 7pm, Greg James and Clara Amfo are throwing a party because BBC Three is on TV - and they're on Radio 1 at the same time! Join them and the stars of Drag Race UK, The Rap Game and new drama Mood, and Big Zuu and Zara McDermott drop in too.
There's music from Danny Byrd x D Double E, Pink Pantheress and Lecky, and if that wasn't enough, they've got some Innuendo Bingo with Radio 1's Scott Mills and Chris Stark, and a Hollywood star might be popping by for a bar snack or two.
The Launch Party will be the first show to broadcast on the newly reinstated BBC channel. Later in the evening there's a new round-up with 'The Catch Up', a new series of Celebrity Eating With My Ex and new comedy short Lazy Susan.
The highlight of the evening is the launch of RuPaul's Drag Race UK, where nine international world-renowned Drag Race queens from Mama Ru’s global sisterhood will take to the world stage to battle it out for the crown.
With the UK as host nation, the series will see iconic queens from different franchises and cultures competing in an international arena, showcasing their country’s finest drag in their bid to become the Queen of the World.
BBC Three returns Tuesday 1st February at 7pm GMT. More details will be revealed in due course.
