BAFTA CONFIRM RED CARPET PRESENTERS AND MUSIC PERFORMANCE AHEAD OF 2022 TV AWARDS
BAFTA has today announced further details for the 2022 Virgin Media British Academy Television Awards, revealing that BRIT Award-winning singer George Ezra will kick off proceedings with an exclusive red-carpet performance of his new single ‘Green Green Grass’.

George Ezra said: “I am looking forward to some fun on the BAFTA red carpet next Sunday with my band. It will be an honour to perform at the biggest night on TV and amongst some incredibly talented stars!”
BAFTA has also today confirmed that award-winning TV and Radio presenter Vick Hope and TV presenter Zeze Millz will host the Virgin Media BAFTA TV Awards red carpet show, which will stream on BAFTA’s Facebook and YouTube channels.
Offering unrivalled access as proceedings get underway and backstage for Virgin Media, Vick will also be the first presenter to greet winners as they come off-stage.
Additionally, Hits Radio presenter and TV personality Sam Thompson will take over BAFTA’s Instagram. Sam will connect with an inaugural squad of at-home content creators (BAFTA Social Squad) bringing audiences at home even closer to their favourite TV stars.

The Virgin Media BAFTA TV Awards will be broadcast on Sunday 8 May at 6pm on BBC One.
