PREVIEW: BAFTA Film Awards 2021, BBC One

Live from London's Royal Albert Hall, Dermot O'Leary and Edith Bowman host a celebration of the best films of the year, including Sound of Metal, Promising Young Woman, Rocks, Soul, The Trial of the Chicago 7 and Mank.



Nominees include Sir Anthony Hopkins, Vanessa Kirby, Riz Ahmed, Frances McDormand, Chadwick Boseman, Clarke Peters, Alfre Woodard, Daniel Kaluuya and Sir David Attenborough.


On Saturday, the opening night of the EE Bafta Film Awards kicks off the biggest weekend in the British film calendar by taking us behind the camera to celebrate the incredible people working on set – hair and make up artists, casting directors, costume and production designers - who’ve been instrumental in creating the best films of 2020.


Clara Amfo and Rhianna Dhillon host from the Royal Albert Hall to hand out awards and look forward to Sunday’s star-studded awards ceremony.


The BAFTA Film Awards 2021 airs Sunday 11th April at 7pm on BBC One.
