ANIMAL CONTROL: CHANNEL 4 ACQUIRE US COMEDY SERIES FOR E4

Channel 4 have acquired US comedy series Animal Control from FOX Entertainment Global. The series will air on E4 in the UK in 2024.

The series stars Joel McHale (who also serves as Executive Producer), Vella Lovell, Ravi Patel, Grace Palmer, Alvina August, Gerry Dee and Michel Rowland.

The series follows a group of local Animal Control workers who all live a complicated live. Joel McHale plays Frank, an opinionated and eccentric Animal Control officer and ex-Police Officer who, after a failed attempt at exposing corruption in the Police, found himself incarcerating animals.

Nick Lee, Channel 4’s head of acquisitions, said: "We’re so pleased to have signed this deal, our first for a scripted title with FEG to make E4 the exclusive UK home for this fresh and clever comedy with a stellar cast. We’re confident our viewers will love it just as much as we do when it comes to E4 next year."

Animal Control will air on E4 and Channel 4 online in 2024.
