MO GILLIGAN JOINS SKY'S A LEAGUE OF THEIR OWN

The multi award winning sports quiz: 'A League of Their Own' is back for its 18th series. Only this time the show is moving from a summer record to the autumn.

This time, expect more topical jokes than ever before, bigger sports stars, more surprises and expect all your favourite comedians back on the show that is always in a league of its own.

Sky confirmed earlier this Summer that Lioness and I'm A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here! winner Jill Scott will join Jamie Redknapp as team captain on the brand new series. Romesh Ranganathan returns as host, with Micah Richards as regular panellist.

It's now been revealed that comedian Mo Gilligan is joining the show as a regular guest on Jamie Redknapp's red team on the series. Mo commented: "I love this show. I always have. It’s good people and good vibes. When Sky asked if I’d consider joining the team, there was no question in my mind. It was an immediate yes. I’m here for it all!"

A source told The Sun: "Mo is one of the most in-demand stars on telly so it’s a real coup by Sky. He’s been on the show previously and gets some big laughs, so bosses expect more of the same for this year’s series."

A League Of Their Own returns next month on Sky Max.
