ALL AROUND BRITAIN AXED BY ITV AFTER TWO SERIES

All Around Britain, the daytime series hosted by Alex Beresford and Ranvir Singh (and then Ria Hebden) has been axed by ITV after two series.

The series, which aired on Sunday mornings, saw the presents travelling around the country exploring some of the most glorious and fascinating visitor destinations and landmarks across Britain and Northern Ireland.

Each episode also featured some of the best heart-warming stories from ITV's regional news teams. Host Alex Beresford has revealed that there are no plans for more episodes, however does have an upcoming project with the broadcaster.

Alex said (via The Sun): "We had a brilliant time exploring and celebrating places such as Blackpool, The Eden Project in Cornwall and Edinburgh but we won’t be making any more episodes. However I am working on another project for ITV, details of which will be revealed shortly."
