ALL CREATURES GREAT AND SMALL ANNOUNCE NEW CAST MEMBERS FOR SERIES TWO

Classic veterinary drama based on the early career of James Herriot begins filming its second series.

Channel 5 said: "The cast and crew of All Creatures Great and Small commenced filming this week in Yorkshire for Series 2, we can’t wait for James Herriot and friends to return to our screens soon!"

Joining the case for series two are Patricia Hodge joins as Mrs Pumphrey, Dorothy Atkinson joins as Diana Brompton and James Fleet joins as Colonel Merrick.

The first series proved a success, with the first episode shown in September 2020 consolidating to 5,042,938 viewers (BARB).

The second series is expected to air later this year on Channel 5.
