STILL TO COME THIS YEAR IN... REALITY

A look at some of the reality shows still air this year.



Survivor, BBC One

Hosted by Joel Dommett, reality competition series that maroons people from all walks of life in a remote location to play the ultimate strategic and social game. Deprived of everyday basic comforts, with little more than the clothes on their back, they will need to outwit, outplay and outlast each other to get to the end.



The Traitors, BBC One

Hosted by Claudia Winkleman, The Traitors is a nail-biting psychological reality competition where 22 strangers play the ultimate game of detection, backstabbing and trust, in the hope of winning up to £120,000. The Traitors was the biggest new series for young audiences across all BBC titles last year, and the highest rating new entertainment series on the BBC since at least 2017 for young audiences.


My Mum, Your Dad, ITV1

Reality series presented by Davina McCall follows a group of single parents who have been nominated by their grown-up kids for a second chance at love. Across 10 hour-long episodes, audiences will be able to follow the single parents, from all over the UK, and all walks of life, as they live together at a stunning country house retreat with one objective: to find true love.



I'm A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here, ITV1

Returning to Australia, the celebrities will leave their plush pads and luxuries far behind as they spend up to three weeks taking on the Australian jungle with a whole host of surprises created just for them.


Big Brother UK, ITV2

AJ Odudu and Will Best host the reboot of the iconic reality series this October. The pair will share the iconic hosting role on the main show, presiding over the weekly evictions and quizzing housemates on all of the goings on in the world’s most famous house. The duo will also host an additional nightly live show debating all the hot topics inside the house.

Alone, Channel 4

Alone is TV’s most extreme and uncompromising survival experiment: the ultimate test of endurance and ingenuity, in one of the most beautiful but challenging landscapes on earth. The six-part series will see ten contestants dropped into the remote Northern Canadian wilderness, where each must survive entirely alone.



Married At First Sight UK, E4

The new series will once again follow a fresh batch of singles, whose search for love and a happy-ever-after will lead them to saying “I do” to a complete stranger, whom they’ll meet for the first time on their wedding day.


Alan Must Win, E4

The series sees a larger-than-life cast compete in a popularity contest set inside a unique environment. However, in amongst the group there is an underdog that no one is expecting. For now, let’s just call them ‘Alan’… Whilst these contestants are busy competing for popularity, what none of the group know is that living secretly next door is a group of celebrities, playing their own game and doing everything they can to make sure that Alan. Must. Win.


Celebs Go Dating, E4

This year the renowned London-based agency is back with all-new celebs and a supercharged agency makeover. The series will feature plenty of new challenges, memorable dating excursions and more chances than ever to find the perfect connection, all-new Celebs Go Dating is sure to be its most dramatic series yet.
