Miss Scarlet | Series 6 Preview (U&Alibi)

Kate Phillips (Peaky Blinders) returns in the lead as headstrong Miss Scarlet, alongside Tom Durant-Pritchard (The Forsytes) as Detective Inspector Alexander Blake. The returning cast includes Cathy Belton (Philomena) as Ivy, Eiza’s housekeeper and mother figure; Paul Bazely (Benidorm) as Clarence; Simon Ludders (Broadchurch) as Mr. Potts; and Felix Scott (The Archers, R4) as Patrick Nash.

The end of Miss Scarlet Series 5 left fans on a tantalizing note as Alexander Blake invited Eliza Scarlet into his home. It’s uncharted territory for Eliza and Alexander in the new series as they navigate their evolving relationship. Their relationship has grown, but now there are new secrets and challenges to face, not to mention vexing mysteries to solve.

Miss Eliza Scarlet is doing her best to have it all. Her business is thriving, but her personal life enters new territory as she attempts to follow her heart and develop a relationship with Inspector Alexander Blake. Eliza may be an expert solving crimes, but she’s very much a novice when it comes to love. Can Eliza juggle the twin demands of her personal and professional life?

Episode 1 - Secrets and Lies: In a case centered around the fledgling world of psychiatry, a violent psychiatric patient is on the loose, leaving behind a murder, a mystery and an unidentified body. Blake hires Eliza to help him solve the case.
