YOU BET: ITV BET BIG ON REBOOT WITH SECOND SERIES ALREADY IN DEVELOPMENT, CASTING TO OPEN
EXCLUSIVE
ITV are betting big on the return of iconic challenge show You Bet! this December, with a second series for next year already in development and casting to open this weekend, TV Zone understands. ITV declined to comment.
The new series - consisting of two episodes airing on Saturday 7th and Sunday 22nd December - is hosted by Holly Willoughby and Stephen Mulhern with a panel of celebrity guests joining them in the studio.
Crammed full of epic challenges, mind-blowing feats, big name celebrities and nail-biting suspense, You Bet! is back with a fresh new update. Members of the public will use their unique abilities to pull off the most outrageous challenges imaginable, all for the chance of winning a big cash prize.
Each episode sees a panel of celebrities and the studio audience predict if each challenger can complete the extraordinary challenge with which they are faced. Guess correctly and points are added to the celebrities’ score, based on the percentage of studio audience who voted the same way.
At the end of the show, the studio audience vote for their favourite challenger who takes home a whopping £10,000. At the same time, the celebrity with the highest score wins £10,000 for their chosen charity, while the celebrity with the lowest score takes on the entertaining final forfeit.
The celebrity panel will be led by comedian Rob Beckett. Joining him across the two episodes will be: comedian and Loose Women star Judi Love; singer Olly Murs; England football goalkeeper Mary Earps; presenter Alison Hammond; presenter and podcaster Rosie Ramsey and former football manager Harry Redknapp.
You Bet! launches Saturday 7th December on ITV1 and ITVX.
