Walter Presents - which showcases the best foreign language drama series from around the world - continues with the second series of the breathtaking crime drama with detective Pierre Niemans and his ex-student Camille Delaunay tackling cases involving strange rituals.
Camille is in trouble for getting involved in a riot and assaulting a police officer, but Niemans is determined to untangle her situation. Meanwhile, they are called to the unusual murder of a priest, Father Spaggio, at an isolated chapel outside a village. Camille and Niemans hear rumours of the priest behaving inappropriately with children, but these are not confirmed.
Someone inserts a cryptic clue into Camille's coat which neither of them understand, and they are shown a link between the death of a third century martyr and the placement of Father Spaggio's body. But even after another murder occurs, the solution seems as far away as ever.
