THE VOICE UK CONFIRMS COACHES FOR 2023 SERIES
The Voice UK is back in production for its twelfth series which is set to air on ITV1 and ITVX in 2023.
In the search for the next singing sensation - Anne-Marie, Olly Murs, Sir Tom Jones and will.i.am - have once again assumed their roles as the superstar Coaches and returned to their seats in the most iconic chairs on television.
Much-loved television presenter Emma Willis returns as host, and will once again preside over all of the action. Hopefuls looking for a shot at stardom will take to the stage in a bid to be crowned this series’ winner, securing a recording contract with Universal’s label UMOD.
The exact format for the series is to be confirmed, however the last series saw a new addition to the format - The Callbacks - where hopeful contestants that made it through the Blind Auditions will battle it out to earn their place in the Semi-Final.
This year's series, which saw Anthonia Edwards crowned The Voice UK Winner 2022, was the first series of the talent competition to be entirely pre-recorded. It was also moved to an Autumn slot having previously aired in the New Year. It is expected the 2023 series will also be pre-recorded.
Before that, The Voice returns to ITV this Christmas with another series of The Voice Kids. Pop Legend Ronan Keating joins Will.iam, Pixie Lott and Danny Jones.
Singers between the ages of seven and 14 will perform in front of the famous big red chairs all in the hope of turning both heads and chairs in their bid to become The Voice Kids champion 2022. The series kicks off on Boxing Day on ITV1.
