TRIGGER POINT: FIRST LOOK AND TRAILER RELEASED FOR FOURTH SERIES OF HIT ITV THRILLER STARRING VICKY McCLURE

ITV and HTM Television will tease a brand new trailer of the eagerly anticipated Trigger Point series during the World Cup games this summer.

ITV’s propulsive and hugely popular drama will return to the channel later this year for a fourth series with multi-award winning actor Vicky McClure playing her  fearless-but-troubled character Lana Washington.  

Viewers will get to see an eye-opening and action-packed 20 second glimpse of what Lana and the team of bomb disposal officers - known as EXPOs - are facing this time as they continue their quest to keep the capital safe from explosive devices and terrorist threats. 

Series 4 follows the success of Series 1-3 that have been streamed 91 million times and reached over 20 million viewers across ITV and ITVX. 

The last series was the 5th most watched drama on ITV in 2025 and the 7th most watched across all channels and streaming services. It averaged 7 million viewers, with the launch attracting 7.4million. 

Commissioned for ITV by Director of Drama, Polly Hill, series four will comprise of six new episodes also featuring the return of characters Danny (Eric Shango), Hass (Nabil Elouahabi), DS Helen Morgan (Natalie Simpson) and DCI Batra (Maanuv Thiara) with guest stars including Julie Graham and Jonas Amstrong.
