Former kickboxing world champion and Wales football international Lauren Price claimed a gold medal at the 2019 World Championship and is favourite for the middleweight title. Her young teammate Caroline Dubois is looking to turn youth Olympic gold into a senior one.

The final event is the men’s super heavyweight, in which Team GB’s Frazer Clarke went into the Games looking to match the achievements of his former sparring partners Anthony Joshua, who won gold at London 2012, and Joe Joyce, who claimed silver in Rio.

The Tokyo Olympics comes to a spectacular end with the traditional closing ceremony and the handover to Paris ahead of the French capital hosting the Games in 2024.
