With next year's series of The Voice UK set to enter production imminently - ahead of this year's series airing this Autumn, which was recorded last year - The Sun are reporting Emma Willis has left the show following the announcement of her as one of the new co-hosts of BBC One's Strictly Come Dancing.

The newspaper reports that Willis, who will still appear as host of this year's series, will not host the show when it re-enters production later this year. It follows previous reports from the tabloid that coaches Danny Jones and Tom Fletcher are have also left the series ahead of production on the 2027 series commencing.

Reports suggest Love Island host and The Masked Singer panellist Maya Jama is 'in talks' to take the reigns of The Voice. An ITV spokesperson said: "As with each new series, we are in discussions about talent for The Voice series 15."

This year's series of The Voice will see the return of the Battle rounds. Airing across 2x75' the Battles will air following the 6x75' audition episodes and be followed by the 1x120 semi-final and 110 minute-long series final. This series will be one episode longer than previous series at 10 episodes.

The iconic red chairs are ready to spin once again. Superstar coaches will.i.am and Sir Tom Jones return to the coaching panel, alongside last year’s winning coaches, McFly’s Tom Fletcher and Danny Jones, who also made history last series as The Voice UK’s first-ever double chair.

Also joining the line-up is megastar Kelly Rowland, bringing a wealth of industry experience and a fresh new dynamic to the battle for the UK’s next big star.  Grammy Award-winning singer, songwriter, actress, producer and television personality Kelly Rowland rose to fame in the 1990s as a member of global pop supergroup Destiny’s Child.

At the helm once again - for this year at least - is presenter Emma Willis, who will guide the singers through every high note, chair turn and dramatic showdown as they ultimately battle to win a life changing record contract with music giants Universal Music Group, £50,000 in cash and a dream holiday to Universal Studios Resort in Florida.

Katie Rawcliffe, Director of Entertainment & Daytime Commissioning, says: “We are delighted to have The Voice UK return. The new lineup brings something for everyone. With the return of our incredible coaches Sir Tom Jones, will.i.am, Tom Fletcher and Danny Jones, plus the addition of the amazing Kelly Rowland bringing fresh insights and even more energy to the panel, we’re set for another unmissable series full of heart, talent and standout moments.”

The Voice returns this Autumn on ITV1 and ITVX.
