THE HOLDEN GIRLS 'SET TO RETURN FOR SECOND SERIES' ON E4

The comedy mockumentary series is set to return for a second run, according to reports.

The Holden Girls: Mandy & Myrtle starred Amanda Holden as herself, with Leigh Francis (aka Keith Lemon) starring as Amanda's nan Myrtle.

Keith Lemon said: "Fingers crossed. I’ve just come from a meeting with Amanda. We’ll be doing more of The Holden Girls. Three hours of make-up every day. I can’t do an old lady unless I’ve got old lady face."

The first series, which aired earlier in 2021, saw a concerned Amanda persuaded her lonely nan to relocate from Doncaster to live with her in her swanky London house. Following a chaotic settling-in period, it wasn't long before tempers fray and Amanda was forced to choose between her husband and her difficult nan.

Episode one of the series launched on E4 with a consolidated audience of 601,938 viewers.

Series One is available to watch on All4.
