THE HOLDEN GIRLS AXED BY E4 AFTER ONE SERIES

The comedy mockumentary series The Holden Girls: Mandy & Myrtle, which starred Amanda Holden as herself, with Leigh Francis (aka Keith Lemon) starring as Amanda's nan Myrtle, will not be returning for a second series.

The first series, which aired in 2021, saw a concerned Amanda persuaded her lonely nan to relocate from Doncaster to live with her in her swanky London house. Following a chaotic settling-in period, it wasn't long before tempers fray and Amanda was forced to choose between her husband and her difficult nan.
