CHANNEL 4 OPEN THE FEAR CLINIC FOR NEW SERIES

Channel 4 have commissioned new six-part series The Fear Clinic from Wonderhood Studios, set to air later this year.

The series will explore and tackle people's weird and wonderful phobias by sending contributors to a controversial clinic in Amsterdam for 48 hours, under the guidance of Dr Merel Kindt for the duration of their stay.

The series will follow each contributor's stay at The Fear Clinic and Dr Kindt and her team of scientists and phobia psychologists attempt to "help neutralise fear memories by facing phobias head on, and with the use of a single fear-blocking pill."

Anna Miralis, Senior Commissioning Officer at Channel 4, said: "This series offers hope to some extremely brave individuals who are willing to face their ultimate phobia. It will be a rollercoaster of emotion as we watch them potentially be freed of something that may have debilitated them for most of their lives."
