THE CHANGE: BRIDGET CHRISTIE COMEDY SET FOR SECOND SERIES ON CHANNEL 4

Sharp, unflinching comedy from Bridget Christie, following Linda (Christie), a 50-year-old, married mother of two who's convinced she's got early onset dementia after forgetting what a shoe is called.

Bridget Christie revealed last year that Channel 4 have commissioned a further three episodes, but had yet to commission a full second series. Production listings suggest that a second series has now been commissioned and is to film this Summer. TV Zone approached Channel 4 for comment.

In the first series, when her GP tells her the suspected early onset dementia is, in fact, the menopause, she feels invigorated and empowered by this information, and decides to do something for herself for a change.

Dusting off her old Triumph, she heads to the Forest of Dean to find a time capsule she hid in a tree as a child, in an attempt to reconnect with the person that she used to be.

Series 1 of The Change is available to stream now on Channel 4.
