In the fourth results show of Strictly Come Dancing 2026, Shaun Wright-Phillips and Alexis Warr left the competition following a dance off against Jaime Winstone and Carlos Gu.

Both couples performed their routines again. Jaime and Carlos performed their Foxtrot to Man I Need by Olivia Dean, before Shaun Wright-Phillips and Alexis Warr performed their Jive to Faith by Stevie Wonder ft. Ariana Grande.

After both couples had danced, the judges delivered their verdicts:

Craig Revel Horwood chose to save Jaime and Carlos
Motsi Mabuse chose to save Jaime and Carlos
Head judge Shirley Ballas chose to save Shaun and Alexis
Anton Du Beke – who this week was the judge with the deciding vote - chose to save Jaime and Carlos

Therefore Jaime and Carlos were saved and Shaun and Alexis are the next couple to leave the competition.

There’ll be immediate reaction from the Strictly dance floor in Strictly: Lights Up, hosted by Abi Clarke and Tyler West, available on BBC iPlayer from the moment the results show credits roll. Shaun and Alexis will then join Ellie Taylor on Strictly - It Takes Two on Monday at 6:30pm on BBC Two and BBC iPlayer.

Sunday night’s show featured a surprise announcement: that next week’s Halloween results show will feature Strictly’s first ever triple dance-off. The three couples with the lowest combined judges’ scores and public votes will dance again, before the judges will vote which one couple to eliminate from Strictly Come Dancing 2026.

Sunday night’s results show also featured the UK television debut performance of the song of the moment: Jamie Miller's Babydoll feat. Antonio Cipriano, which is currently number one in the UK charts. Plus things got spicy as Melanie C joined the Strictly Professionals for a fitness-based group dance.

The remaining couples will take to the dancefloor next week, when Strictly Come Dancing returns at later time of 6:30pm on Saturday 31st October for its annual Halloween special. All episodes of the 2026 series so far are available to stream on BBC iPlayer.
