Steven Frayne, the magician formerly known as Dynamo, is returning to TV with a new three-part series on Sky Max which will mark 100 years since the death of illusionist Harry Houdini.

A source told The Sun newspaper: "Steven will be carrying out death-defying challenges, just like his hero Houdini, who is considered the world’s greatest ever illusionist and escapologist. But the stunts will be carried out in combination with his own brand of street magic as he journeys across the US to mark this special anniversary."

Frayne most recently fronted live special Dynamo Is Dead on Sky, which saw Dynamo defy the odds and go beyond magic - burying himself alive. Viewers were left on the edge of their seats as they buckled up and prepared to watch Dynamo put his life on the line. Dynamo dug his own grave in preparation for his perilous and climactic feat six feet under, which culminated in him laying Dynamo rest.

More details will be announced in due course.
