STARSTRUCK: OLLY MURS SET TO PRESENT NEW ITV SERIES

New reports suggest Olly Murs will present the new series.

Starstruck is described as "an exciting new format in which ordinary members of the public with an exceptional talent team up transform into some of the world’s biggest music icons."

The format sees four groups of three contestants transform into their idols to perform. Whichever group wins the most judges' votes will then go up against one another in a bid to win a place in the final and win £50,000.

According to reports from The Sun, Olly Murs is set to present the series. A source told The Sun: "Olly is absolutely thrilled about joining the Starstruck team. As well as being a hugely successful musician he's more than proved his merit on the telly. After watching him on The Voice, ITV bosses knew that he was the right choice to present Starstruck."

Adam Lambert, Sheridan Smith, Jason Manford and Beverly Knight are set to take their places on the judging panel when the series films this Summer.
