Sky News have announced that Sophy Ridge and Wilfred Frost will be moving to Breakfast from this Autumn as the new presenters of its relaunched Breakfast show.

Ridge is the current host of Sky's primetime politics show Politics Hub, since its launch two years ago. She previously hosted the channel's flagship Sunday morning politics show Sophy Ridge On Sunday, which is currently presented by Trevor Phillips.
Frost, the son of legendary broadcaster Sir David Frost, has been the stand-in presenter for Breakfast since Kay Burley departed the station earlier this year. Before that, he presented Sky News Today from 10-11:30am every weekday. Frost also works for Sky sister station NBC.
Sophy Ridge commented: "Soooo I’m about to find out how many coffees one woman can consume before 7am Me & [Wilfred Frost] will be shaking up Sky’s breakfast show from later this year and I can’t wait to work together. Presenting Breakfast is a massive honour for me & a real pinch yourself moment."
Wilfred Frost commented: "I’m insanely pumped about the all new breakfast show coming soon. Loads of exciting aspects - but top of the list is partnering with [Sophy Ridge]. I know we’ll bring the best out of each other - & together bring you the very best of Sky News in a fresh, warm & inviting way."
More details will be announced in due course.
