The new and returning titles airing on Sky this September revealed.

 SATURDAY NIGHT LIVE UK

Live from London, it’s Saturday Night! The British incarnation of NBC’s legendary late night showcase returns for its second series, with a new guest host taking the helm each week, putting their own distinctive stamp on the SNL formula alongside a chart topping musical guest.

Written, rehearsed and performed in the week of each show, every episode is staged in front of a live studio audience and delivers an opening monologue, topical sketches, live music, and a UK twist on SNL’s iconic news satire, Weekend Update, and the gloriously unpredictable energy that made Series 1 Sky’s most talked about show of the year.

 THE WARGAME

The Wargame is a landmark four-part series where constructed documentary meets propulsive drama, based on the award-winning Sky News podcast of the same name. Set six months in the future, the series takes viewers beyond the news cycle and behind closed doors into a sealed COBR- style crisis room where real-world senior politicians, military leaders and intelligence chiefs are challenged to confront a high-stakes scenario: a Russian attack on UK soil.

This gripping simulation has been developed in conjunction with leading academics, military and defence experts, including Sky News’ Security and Defence Editor Deborah Haynes, to replicate the pressure of political decision-making at the highest level.

An impressive cross-party cast of highly experienced public figures must navigate this crisis, including Michael Gove, Nicola Sturgeon, Penny Mordaunt, Sayeeda Warsi, Harriet Harman, Jim Murphy, Ayesha Hazarika, General Sir Richard Barrons, Kim Darroch, Christopher Steele, Lord George Robertson and Anthony Scaramucci. Opposing them, a team of Russia experts, led by Keir Giles.

 THE PAPER

The intrepid team at the Toledo Truth Teller return for a second season of the mockumentary sitcom based in the same world as the US adaptation of The Office. In season two, after sweeping the Ohio Journalism Awards, Ned searches for a journalistic crusade, coming for a local private club and jeopardising the paper, while he and Mare try to figure out their attraction, Esmeralda struggles to find her place, and the staff gradually mature as reporters.

 LORNE

From Morgan Neville, Academy Award-winning filmmaker of 20 Feet from Stardom and Won't You Be My Neighbor?, comes Lorne, an unprecedented, behind-the-scenes glimpse at the man who built the inimitable empire of comedy, shaping television and culture for generations. The documentary features exclusive footage, archival treasures, and candid interviews with the show's most iconic cast members and writers including Tina Fey, Maya Rudolph, John Mulaney, Andy Samberg, Conan O'Brien, Chris Rock and many more.

Transmission details will be announced in due course.
