SKY TO CELEBATE HOME ALONE IN ONE-OFF SPECIAL WITH ALEX BROOKER
Sky have commissioned a one-off special, produced by Naked TV, to celebrate iconic move Home Alone, which starred Macaulay Culkin.
The 90-minute special, which is set to air this Christmas, will be fronted by comedian and presenter Alex Brooker and look back at over 30 years of the popular film.
The Last Leg star will journey to the US to visit some of the locations used in the 1990 movie. Alex will be joined by fellow comedians and fans Guz Khan and James Acaster.
The trio will attempt to recreate and put to the test of of the 'booby traps' which featured in the original movie character Kevin used to prevent home raiders entering the house.
Guz and James will reportedly be joined an engineer to examine the science behind the traps, which include ice-covered steps and glue & feathers, their workings and how they can be overcome.
A source told The Sun: "This show was originally intended to air in 2020 — three decades after Home Alone became a huge hit around the world...
"Then Covid came along and scuppered plans to mark the milestone, but the creators have continued undaunted and don’t see any reason why we can’t celebrate its 32nd birthday instead."
