SAVE ME: THIRD SERIES IN DEVELOPMENT AT SKY

The Sky drama starring Lennie James, Suranne Jones and Stephen Graham, is set to return for a third series, which is currently in development.

Sky's Director Of Content, Zai Bennett, revealed at a press event that a third series was currently at the 'script stage' of development. The first series became the most rapidly binged boxset in Sky's history, and became a BAFTA winning and RTS multi-award-winning Sky Original drama.

The unique Sky original introduced us to an unlikely hero in Nelly Rowe (James), the life and soul of his local boozer; a charmer, chancer, fighter, liar and, at his age, a man who should know better.

A cumulative audience of 1.73 million viewers tuned into the first episode, to watch Nelly’s world turn upside down after he is arrested and accused of kidnapping his 13-year-old daughter Jody, a child he barely knew existed.

More details will be revealed in due course.
