PARENT'S EVENING: ROMESH RANGANATHAN TO FRONT ITV PRIMETIME ENTERTAINMENT SERIES

Romesh Ranganathan is to host a new primetime comedy quiz show Parent's Evening on ITV1 and ITVX, alongside his mum Shanthi.

The 3x60' series, due to air later this year, sees the fortunes of the celebrity contestants lie in the hands of those who supposedly know them best... their parents. And it won’t just be the players’ general knowledge getting scrutinised. Keeping a watchful eye and putting Romesh in his place will be his mum.

Ranganathan appeared alongside his Mum on his BBC Two entertainment show The Ranganation until 2022. The show saw Romesh joined by 20 loveable, outspoken characters who represent a cross-section of modern Britain to review the week.
